In October we celebrate Calypso History Month and the National Trust of Trinidad and Tobago’s 2019 edition of Vintage Calypso on Nelson Island takes the form of a “Tribute to Lord Superior”.

Vintage Calypso on Nelson Island was headlined by Lord Superior and now we pay homage to this cultural giant who has passed.

We would feature performances by Lady Adana, Abebele, GB, Poser, Twiggy and Bro. Valentino backed by Superior’s band Reflections. Each performer along with Dr. Janet Stanley- Marcano will speak on their experience with Superior.

The Island will be transformed into a “Kaiso Tent” and would have food and drink on sale. Small coolers are allowed.
