ABOUT THE CALENDAR
Walking through various landscapes of T&T, I reflect on the many people throughout history who have walked through these same places and what stories these spaces possess. I meet and chat with people as I take photographs all over T&T and learn so much more about our country. For my 2017 Calendar, ‘Our Story’, I started the process of interviewing people and presented snippets of some of the stories I recorded in that calendar. The individuals, who were all born before 1956, shared knowledge and many interesting memories from their lives as well as reflections about our country. I always wanted to share more of these stories, and the Cultural Studies course that I am currently doing was the inspiration I needed to share these pieces with you all for this new calendar. My classes have been a huge reminder that we must continue to learn, document, and share the knowledge gathered about our culture. These excerpts are part of the oral history of our country, and they form a small portion of the collective story that makes up T&T.

Under each photograph, there is a short caption and on the back two pages, I share more excerpts along with information about the locations photographed. I have chosen images of places in both Trinidad and Tobago and these spaces have heard and nurtured these same stories through the years. I hope you enjoy hearing these stories and learning more about our country.

PLEASE NOTE: All calendar orders will be processed after the 2nd January 2023.
The two pages at the back of the calendar have additional information about each image which I hope you enjoy.
