Colour Our Wetlands: A World Wetlands Day Activity Sheet
January 16, 2026
World Wetlands Day is celebrated annually on 2 February to raise awareness about the importance of wetlands and the role they play in sustaining life, culture, and community.

This year’s theme, “Wetlands and Traditional Knowledge: Celebrating Cultural Heritage,” asks us to reflect on how wetlands have shaped our ways of living, learning, and belonging in Trinidad and Tobago.
As part of our World Wetlands Day 2026 activities, the National Trust of Trinidad and Tobago invites you to download and print this free wetlands colouring activity, get creative, and share what wetlands mean to you.

How to participate:
  1. Download and print the activity sheet
  2. Colour it in your own style
  3. Share your artwork on social media
  4. Tag @nationaltrusttt and use #WorldWetlandsDay2026
