Cocoa is a huge part of the history of Trinidad and Tobago. Gran Couva’s Montserrat Hills are historically linked to the production of cocoa.   We leave from the National Trust Office at 8:30 on Saturday 7th May, and head to Gran Couva. We will visit 2 cocoa estates, to see the different steps of the cocoa production process, as well as Our Lady of Montserrat Roman Catholic Church, and La Vega Estate. For more information, give us a call at 225-4750 / 277-6105 Or come into our office at 68-70 Sackville Street, Port of Spain between the hours of 8am and 4pm. We look forward to seeing you there!
